Executing India — Not Selling It as a Theme.
India is the only major economy where demographic dividend, capital market deepening, technology adoption, and manufacturing renaissance are converging simultaneously. We are not selling India as a theme — we are executing India as a high-conviction, disciplined investment mandate with the precision global institutional capital demands.
Structure at a Glance.
The ALPHA Investment Framework.
Five disciplined pillars that combine high-conviction India exposure with multi-source alpha, structured liquidity, and active currency management — a true multi-alpha vehicle in one USD-denominated structure.
A Three-Tier Architecture.
Core India Equity — 70%
18–22 stocks across India's structural growth themes: capital goods, defence, domestic financial services, technology-enabled businesses, and speciality manufacturing. 3–5 year hold. ROCE ≥ 18%, debt-light, with a management quality filter.
Pre-IPO / Event Bridge — 15%
3–5 positions. Pre-listing India opportunities from the SPVH AMC pipeline and anchor book allocations. 12–24 month liquidity-event horizon. Proprietary sourcing through the SPVH Value Discovery Fund deal-flow.
EM Asia Optionality — 10–15%
High-conviction positions where India equity lacks equivalent exposure: Taiwan/Korea AI semiconductor supply chain, ASEAN digital-economy leaders, and China internet/consumer recovery plays. Adds EM alpha unavailable in India-only mandates.
Cash / FX Buffer — 0–10%
USD-denominated liquid instruments during high-valuation / low-opportunity periods. Actively managed — not idle. Deployed on 10%+ corrections in core India markets or the emergence of new pre-IPO opportunities.
Target Sector Allocation.
What Sets This Fund Apart.
Four structural advantages that make India Alpha a true multi-alpha vehicle — combining active conviction, proprietary sourcing, institutional liquidity discipline, and a built-in currency tailwind in a single USD-denominated structure.
Multi-Alpha in One Vehicle
The ALPHA framework blends a high-conviction India core with EM Asia optionality and a pre-IPO event bridge — three distinct return engines combined in a single USD-denominated structure, not a one-dimensional India bet.
Proprietary Sourcing Moat
SPVH's UHNI network and the SPVH Value Discovery Fund deal pipeline open access to pre-IPO allocations and anchor books — a sourcing advantage that passive feeders and standalone managers simply cannot replicate.
Institutional Liquidity Discipline
Position sizes are capped at 4× average daily turnover so the portfolio can be fully liquidated in ≤ 15 trading days — a structured liquidity protocol built for institutional LP redemption management from day one.
Built-In Currency Tailwind
USD denomination means every basis point of INR depreciation (~3–4% p.a. historically) accrues as additional return to the global LP versus a domestic INR fund — active currency and redemption management included.
Terms & Risk Architecture.
Target LP Investor Profile.
Built for sophisticated global capital seeking disciplined, active access to India's structural growth — with the liquidity protocols and reporting standards institutional allocators require.
